The Florida Aquarium (Tampa) - Discover over 10,000 aquatic plants and animals and wonderful exhibits about Florida's wetlands, bays and beaches, coral reefs, and offshore creatures. The Florida Aquarium offers Ecotours aboard a 64-foot, 49-passenger catamaran.
Dinosaur World (Plant City) - Visit the world’s largest dinosaur attraction. See over 150 life size dinosaurs which are displayed outdoors, search for fossils, visit the caves and boneyards, stroll through the dinosaur museum and then let the children play on the playground.
The Pier ( St. Petersburg) - Located on the waterfront in downtown St. Petersburg, The Pier, which has an inverted-pyramid design, extends a quarter-mile into the waters of Tampa Bay and the straights of the Gulf of Mexico. At The Pier you'll find five stories of fun to explore. There is something for the whole family to enjoy. Attractions include; The Pier Aquarium which is privately owned, charter fishing excursions, pier fishing, dolphin cruise, bike rentals, Pizzeria, ice cream shop, restaurants, shopping, feeding the pelicans, and live entertainment. The Pier is open 365 days a year.
Universal CityWalk (Orlando) - A 30-acre entertainment complex where you can experience live music, casual and fine dining, dancing, shopping, movies, and more. You'll find teen nights - at the groove for teens 15-19 years of age, first-run movies in 20 theaters featuring wall-to-wall screens at Universal Cineplex, a wide range of restaurants and unique stores and boutiques. CityWalk has no charge for entrance.
Walt Disney World Theme Parks (Orlando) - A trip to Florida is not complete without a visit to the place of magic, discovery and adventure. The four Walt Disney World Theme Parks give a whole new meaning to the word fun. There is something for everyone, young and old. Plan to spend at least a day at each of Disney's "big four" - Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney- MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom.
Daytona USA (Daytona Beach) - This huge state-of-the-art interactive attraction is an exciting and fast-paced stop even for nonrace fans. Kids can see real stock cars, go-karts, and motorcycles, and even participate in a pit stop on a NASCAR Winston Cup racecar. DAYTONA USA is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Parrot Jungle and Gardens (Miami) - This is a unique tourist attraction located in Miami. Parrot Jungle and Gardens is a tropical jungle with birds, monkeys and some of the world's most exotic animals. See a 900-pound liger and twin orangutans. Relax on the private beach or enjoy lunch looking out over the Flamingo Lake. Enjoy the shows and take a VIP Safari tour.
Kennedy Space Center (Cape Canaveral) - At Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex you will find a number of museums, two IMAX theatres, and the only place where you can tour launch areas, meet an Astronaut, see giant rockets, train in spaceflight simulators, and even view a launch.
National Museum of Naval Aviation (Pensacola) - Visit one of the largest historic aviation museums in the world. See over 150 aircraft that has been restored that represents the Marine Corps, Navy and Coast Guard Aviation displayed in 291,000 square feet of exhibit space and outside on the Museum's 37-acre grounds. Alligator Farm (St. Augustine) - Visit one of the oldest zoological attractions in Florida. The St. Augustine Alligator Farm has 23 species of crocodilians on display in individual habitats along with the rare white alligator and an array of exotic birds and animals.
