Tips for Traveling With Children
1. If you are flying make sure you reserve your seats at the time you make the reservation. Try to reserve seats in the bulkhead row of the airplane, this will give you more leg room and allow the kids room to move around.
2. If traveling by car get a DVD player
so the kids can watch their favorite movies on the road.
3. Pack any prescription medication and also bring along common medicines such as Tylenol and Pepto Bismol. Take along a first-aid kit.
4. When flying be sure to pack extra clothes for the kids in a carry-on bag. Accidents do happen.
5. Keep the wet wipes handy.
6. Get the kids involved in planning the vacation by asking them what they want to see and do.
7. Give each child an allowance for buying souvenirs.
8. Don't schedule too many activities for one day. Always allow for downtime.
9. Don't forget to pack any favorite blankets and stuffed animals.
10. Pay attention to personal safety and obey all rules.
