Universal Orlando On-Site Hotels

Universal Orlando On-site hotelsAt Universal Orlando, “on-site” hotel means just that: the hotels are a stroll or quick water-taxi ride away from the theme parks and the entertainment complex, yet provide enough separation so that guests feel they have found the perfect retreat. And in a benefit unique to Universal Orlando, on-site hotel guests can use their room key to gain Universal Express preferred access to attractions, rides and shows throughout the destination.

To make their visit to the theme parks hassle-free, all guests can use the Universal Express ride access system to bypass regular lines. And on-site hotel guests at Universal Orlando don’t need to use Universal Express to beat the lines. They simply show their room key at each ride to receive and enjoy preferred access. In addition, on-site guests receive complimentary room delivery of packages and souvenirs purchased in the parks at the end of the day, so there are no bulky bundles to carry around all day. Other exclusive benefits for guests staying in any of the three elaborately themed resort hotels at Universal Orlando include complimentary resort transportation, and priority restaurant seating.

On-site hotel accommodations are all operated by Loews Hotels and offer dining, children’s programs, golf, spas and concierge service. And superb dining opportunities at Universal Orlando include two restaurants by Emeril Lagasse, The Palm restaurant and specialty restaurants across the destination.

Each of the on-site hotels offers comfortably luxurious, family friendly accommodations. The kid suites featured at the Portofino Bay Hotel and the Hard Rock Hotel allow both parents and children to enjoy the privacy and comfort of their own rooms, while also providing the convenience of a connecting door for easy throughout. The themed kid suites feature bunk beds, kid-sized furniture, video game hookups and kid-themed amenities.

The Portofino Bay Hotel, the Hard Rock Hotel and the Royal Pacific Resort each offer children’s pools and play areas, as well as poolside dining and evening ‘dive-in’ movies the whole family will love. Guests of the on-site Loews Hotels may visit any of the three hotel pools during their stay.

The hotels’ main dining rooms each offer a kid-friendly dining area so both parents and children can enjoy mealtime. Families may choose to sit together for meals or the kids can dine in the designated children’s section of the restaurant while mom and dad dine at a neighboring table. The children’s sections feature television monitors with age-appropriate material; coloring books and games; and specially formulated children’s menus, featuring all of the traditional favorites, as well as several healthy choices.

The ‘Loews Loves Little Kids’ program is offered to hotel guests accompanied by the youngest of travelers, children ages six months to three years old, and consists of baby and play classes; Fisher-Price getaway gear, such as a play yard, a take-along swing, and a training potty, so no potty-training setbacks occur for vacationing toddlers; and a selection of Fisher-Price toys available for loan, all provided through Universal Orlando’s lending program.

The on-site children’s programs allow kids to embark on a fun adventure, and provide parents with the opportunity to visit the Mandara Spa, enjoy a night at Universal CityWalk, or just kick back and relax by the hotels’ pools and hot tubs.
